Continuous Learning for Career Success….

As companies start to reopen after the Country Lockdown caused by Clovid-19 there is one guarantee — that the way we worked before is not the way we will be working in the future. However, do you know what will your job will look like in 5 year’s time, 10 years' time? What will your organisation look like, will your industry still exist?

We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know that we live in changing, turbulent times. This means that your job description could be very different — or even irrelevant — in the years to come.

One way to keep our skillset relevant is to continuously keep learning and there has never been a better opportunity to do this. There are so many ways to learn from free online webinars, tutorials, 5-day social media workshops and youtube videos.

Also at this time, there are many courses that would normally cost, being offered for free:

https://www.librariesireland.ie/elibrary/elearning-courses

https://online.stanford.edu/free-courses

LinkedIn Learning — has made many of its courses free

www.udemy.com many courses have been significantly reduced.

www.e-college.ie If you are in receipt of the Covid-19 payment — has over 1500 courses

www.futurelearn.com

I am a passionate believer in lifetime learning, not only does it keep us relevant it also gives us energy. Learning something we are interested in as an adult is not the same as forced learning we experienced in school. Why don’t you check out the courses, start with a bite-size learning and take it from there!
